Untouchability has been discussed elaborately in the society since many years ago and is still being discussed on various occasions. One section of the society approves of untouchability whereas the other section is concerned about solution of it. With these opinions the section of society for untouchability are in favour of prohibiting the entry at temples and other religious organizations for certain section of the society; and the people who are in support for the solution to this problem are against the restriction of entry of certain section of society in temples and religious organizations. What could be the opinion of the Jain Shashan about such a debatable issue?   Deliberations in this book about this issue is based on the principles of Shri Jin Shashan  and about the type of dealings to be engaged considering the principles of Jain Shashan. This is communicated in a nonjudgmental respectable refined manner wherein the views expressed are sans contempt and hostility. This debate had arisen during the Chaturmas at Kolkata in V.S.2008 after which PujyaShri had written elaborate articles which were published in Jain Pravachan which are concised and published in the form of this book to satisfy the curiosity of the inquisitive mind.
