Is the person engaged in practicing good deeds aware about the manner they deprive themselves from getting complete benefits from the good deeds performed?  Many people are deprived from benefitting from many magnamonius great deeds they have performed.  The pleasure, happiness and appreciation derived from the performance of smallest good deed even if the deed is the size of an atom can generate strength and benefit as colossal as Mount Meru. Our scriptures have proved this when we witness the incident in the life of Shri Shalibhdra about a small good deed he performed in his previous birth of donating Kheer generating happiness and pleasure. Though it was a small good deed the happiness, pleasure and subsequent Anumodana resulted in it being an act the size of Mount Meru. Paramtarak Gurudevshri has narrated this incident in a distinguished manner in this book.
