Vasudev Hiddi – first Volume is the most Prachin Agametar Katha Granth in Jain literature created by Shri Sanghdas Ganik. Composed as Prakrit poem this is a voluminous granth comprising of approximately ten thousand Shloka. Since it is based on narrations, this Granth is important for comparative study of narrations due to the valuable information available in it. Vasudev Hiddi, holds a distinctive status in Prakrit literature due to its language and is extraordinary from many perspectives.  This book was translated by former Prof. Bhogilal Jaichanbhai Sandesara about seventy to seventy-five years ago. This book was published by Jain Atamanand Sabha and due to its heavy demand Sanmarg Publications printed on the occasion of Shashan Sirtaj SuriRamchandra Diksha Shatabdi was published by the Samiti.
